Guys, I just installed a GM alt on my Zuk and the Battery is not charging. Makes me wonder if my old Alt was bad since it wasn't charging either. The weird thing is that the neg battery cable is quite warm ??? Anyone have any ideas, I am in serious need of help. Gotta go to work this morning. Thanks!

Why dont you just go ahead and replace all the batt. cables. Its real cheap and that could cause a lot of problems with starting and charging. It sounds like your cable is old and rotted. But then again, I have been wrong...
Put a voltage meter across the battery terminals with the motor running and you should see about 14 volts. If not then you are not charging the battery. You might have to rev the motor a bit above idle, but you should see the 14 volts without too many RPMs.
