I am looking for a local machine shop to do odds and ends in the SF bay area? I have a couple of things I need done that are beyonds my capabilities.

I need a pair of rear wheel hubs turned down and I need a pair of disc brake backing plates machined--cash money$$

what machine work done for the brackets......
just turn down the OD of the hubs?

Years ago I used to get stuff done by Kramers Machine shop in Oakland. They are not 4x4 specific but it is a complete Machine shop for all your needs.

just turn down the OD of the hubs?

yes I just need the OD of the rear hubs turned down, the lathe I have access to isn't big enough to chuck the hub into.

the brackets are basically 5" square 3/4" thick plates that need 4 bolt holes, a center bore and 1/4" of material milled off one face to create a "shoulder" around the center bore to align the disc brake caliper mount and e brake backing plate. I have all the dimensions on dwgs.
