Isuzu D44

Paniolo, $150.00 for an Isuzu D44 ??? I was quoted $900 for one here in Scaramento, CA, so I stuck with my stock Isuzu Corporate axle. I imagine its a supply and demand thing, probably for replacing the Toy axles here............ There's nothing wrong with the Isuzu 12-bolt rear, either. Ring gear diameter is 220mm, 8.66 inches, > than D44. Drop out 3rd member, disc brakes..... Only 2 common gear ratios, though. 4.10, 4.55. New, Isuzu 4.77 gears.......are lotta dallah $$$$$$$$$$$$$ Only locker available is ARB.....

Yeah, $150 and he had a couple. Not sure all these guys realize its a D44 though :D Shipping to Austin was another $100, so $262.50 to the door with tax. I'm sure they would be just as willing to ship to cali. The yard said it was complete, but I couldn't eyeball it. PM me if you want their phone #

I decided to go with a 90's Toy V-6 8" for $175...I could see the condition, gave me the same drop outs F&R and I can do the gear install. (5.29's w/ spool) so built it was a couple of hundred cheaper. If I hadn't stumbled on this axle in the core section (bad R&P) and talked the guy down on $ I would have tried the Isuzu...still kind of wish I had.
