I am getting rid of my 2.5 inch RE SOA YJ springs and i am going to drop down to stock height YJ springs. I would like to know who has the best ones or who makes the best ones. i am looking for a very durable yet flexy ones. any help would be great.
I don’t think a lot of companies make stock height suspension. You can try to find new original Jeep springs. They’re pretty good. Old Man Emu makes the best springs ever but they come in 2.5” lift. If you need something custom made, no one makes them better than National Springs.
Thanks for the info, I know about national spring i had them build a set of 4.5 inch lift coils for my ZJ. does anyone know how much it will cost for all 4 with the reverse eye springs. does national have a site? i know about OME haveing great springs but right now i have RE 2.5's and i want it to be a bit lower.
I have the 2.5 inch springs now w/ soa and TJ flares and i can fit 38's w/ bumpstops. if i go to the stock YJ height ones will i be able to run 35x16 boggers. i was able to fit 35 SSR's with the skyjacker YJ monoleaf spring under. i just woulod like to know that i should not have a issue w/ the 35's. I have a dynatrac 60 rear and wagonner 44 front so the tubes are larger than stock .
I would really consider the stock replacement 5 leaf rear packs and add another main leaf with the eyes removed to help control spring wrap. I have had experience building 2 sets for friends and they seem to be holding up pretty good compared to any aftermarket springs. The extra main leaf will help with the stress at the eye and they wont wear out as quick also. Or even consider stock leaves with a replacemnt custon main leaf with the reverse eyes like your RE's.
