Where is the best place to get my injectors done at? They were sitting for a while out of the truck before I bought it.

Two thumbs to Rich at cruzin.... fast turn around and sent a link for the flow sheets, in addition to the cleaning and rebuild installed all new seals and seats and painted the injectors all pretty.

Sorry for the highjack... but, you guys that had your injectors rebuilt. Did you notice a big improvement in power or what?

I did because of necessity. Mine were leaking due to really old seals.

since we ARE on the subject of injectors, i would like to ask a question. how much of a tear down do you need to do to get to the injectors? i think mine aren't doing so well....

sorry for the hijack!

it is kind of a pain in the ass to pull apart your intakes but not physically hard.

Back in the day ('93 to be exact), I had my injectors rebuilt and balanced by Downey. I had a bunch of other work done at the same time, and it all made a big differance in power. 13 years later that same 22re is still running great in my 85 Toy. They aren't hard to get to at all IMHO as long as you have some mechanical ability. You do need to pull the intake apart other than that it's not too bad at all, again IMO.

I'm confused by this. The information on that link says Afordable FI (Michigan) but his location says he's in Idaho. Is he on the up and up or is he a middle man to AFI?
