I called 4WPW and they want $135ea for the 44044 springs and $36 for shipping (total $306). Also $25 for the bushings. Has anybody found a better price somewhere else in the past few months??

TIA
Scott

Hey Paul, I was looking at going 44044 up front and AP rear. How do you like the AP's up front? How did they compare to Vova and Pat?

Also what is their sale price? I do not see it on their web page.

this is a good point, the 44044's flex like mad but seem to be super soft. Not what every one wants, definatly not for me. And they are obviously not the cheapest choice

the allpros work super good on a runner or something with a lot of camping gear, spares, tools, etc in it, otherwise id be all over the chevy swap in the rear. the allpro fronts are everybit as flexy as the 44044's plus youre putting your $$ towards a company specifically making products for toyota rockcrawling, not some multimillion dollar generic lift kit company, that happens to make a spring toyota guys found works good...

the sale price was an october special so it should be good tomorrow too, it was $229 i believe.

they dont seem to be any softer than any other decent rock crawling spring(44044, allpro, lifted wrangler rears). they all nose dive some hard on the brakes and have some body roll in the corners, but your comprimising for the flex on the trail, not trying to be AJ foyt...heheee i commute 40 miles each way to work and back in my truck, never feel unstable or scary...

buy whatever is cheapest at the time they are all proven by thousands of toyota wheelers to work reeeally good!

Have you tried calling 4WP or Summit with someone elses purchase info who got the good deal on the springs. You'll need to ask for the same salesperson.
I can give you my info, but it was a while ago. Maybe ask Pat, he just got his a few months ago.
Good luck

Thanks,

Man, those things are getting expencive! When I got mine they where $236 delivered. If I had to do it now, the All Pro price is too hard to pass up, and from what I've seen they flex just as good.

I have seen the 44044's take a better beating and last than the AP springs.. And have seen alot of complaints about them sagging, where guys in the club have literraly kinked the 44044's and they bounce right back, and we aint easy on our junk...
