Best Radiator?

Well my 2nd Champion Radiator is leaking in the same spot as the first at almost the same amount of miles…. Don’t believe I’m going to give them a 3rd chance. Which radiators have y’all had luck with?

I went to the rad shop and they built me a brass radiator, they last forever if cooling flushes are done regularly

Not familiar with Champion Radiator, but I would take a good look at mounting. Too rigid or too flexible and those can cause problems. I try to only mount radiators with three mounts. That way they can flex...or not flex as much. I mention this because it is a 4x4 forum and frames do flex. Even tube rigs flex. Three full rubber grommets can do it if thought through.

Might be a mfg reason, but why there?
i went with csf, make sure to get the right model, too early to tell about reliability in my rig: CSF 2314 Radiator Review - YotaTech Forums

i did notice that when the four mounts were tightened down, the last one put bending stress on the radiator, so i fixed it.

the previous radiator lasted 10 years, so i don't know that the mounting issues were a factor.

I got a 3rd Champion coming, I mean hell I got ~$240 in it and they're standing by their lifetime warranty, but if this one screws me I'm going to go with the CSF as well, just annoying to change and bleed so many times... Tempted to just go ahead and get the CSF
Where does it leak? Ours leaked at the lower hose connector. Weld cracked. I was using very stiff rad hoses (hydraulic return lines 2 1/4" i.d.) and they didn't flex enough and vibrations cracked it. Some to look at..

Same exact place on both of them, super slow microscopic leak on the end of this weld , 1 drop an hour or so depending on if you drive it or not. Sucks because it works and looks great, but leaks... Maybe the 3rd one will be the charm.

Could try getting that one re- welded. Keep has a spare.

Yeah I think I will this time, and at the same time get the new one welded in this area before I go through the trouble of changing these again
