hey everybody

last sunday i blew a fuse to my electrical pump. it took us hours to track down what the problem was. and after dropping the tank, looking over all the wiring, and installing a extra computer i had, we found out it was a fuse.

this weekend it did the same thing. im hoping. i haven't been able to find out the problem yet, but when i looked over all the fuses, i didn't see any problems, and they all looked ok.

all this has started after installing a new alternator.

any ideas

Check for a wire grounding out going to the FP. It sounds similar to the problem that one of my friends had. It turned out that the insulation had rotted away from the wire about 3 feet from the fuel pump, and was intermittently grounding out.

Also could just be a bad pump....
