The factory service manual has a lot of the frame measurements you need, but in 2D. Would make CAD a lot easier...

No offense but I really think both CJ, and BAJG should of started with something other then a TJ! hell you paid $20000 on a jeep and arent even using half the stock parts Once you build a new frame and swap motors you will just have a $20000 interior and tub

TJoop,

No, just working with the factory frame caused a few problems for me. I need to move my front axle further foward but the dang power steering box is in the way. I want to make a totally integrated frame/cage. Plus, I want to get my shocks more vertical in the back, and hopefully putting a Chevy 350 in...I've been eyeing the RamJet 350 but I don't know. There are a ton of reasons to build the frame really...

Im going to pull the TJ dash out too and basically just use the tub and build everything else.

NE-RokToy,
Yeah, heignsight or however you spell it is 20/20. It would have been more expensive to go back and do it over with something else, I already had the Jeep, so why not use it. I was thinking the other day I might use a CJ-7 tub since it would make a few things I want to do quite a bit easier.

I've got a full size Dana issue drawing of a TJ d35, but that's worth about as much as the d35 that's takin' up real estate in my garage.
