I already have extended brake lines on the front but it isnt long enough. I was thinking about hooking a stock rubber hose to my ss hose. Will this work or leak? What are yall doing to cure the problem?TIA

call TPIlandcruiser, they have 6" extensions that fit perfect for SOA. They are $20 a piece, i think.

Good luck!!

When I did the soa on my 55 I purchased 4" ext b lines and made drop brackets to gain a few more inches.

but yes, you could very easily stack b lines. just make sure the threads and ends are compatible. Take a trip to PNP and you should find a shit load of lines that should work on the 2wd toy pu's <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

After looking at the hoses, I think if I were to stack the rubber hose to the ss hose it will leak. But if I put a short solid link with the correct fittings it may work. I think I will contact TPI tomorrow and fork out the $20 if they have what I need.

when i did my soa i ran one line down to the pumpkin and the seperated the lines out to each wheel. used bulk hardline and a generic rubber center drop soft rubber line. works out well and keeps the couplings to a minimum. also fat chance of getting a line caught in a tire of branch or whatnot.
good luck!

I stacked the rear, basically took a front hose, like 4-5"'s long and attached it the rear and has held up fine for roughly 2 years.
