Anyone know where I can find a rebuild kit for 92 front IFS Calipers. I took them off today and 2 out of 4 pistons where seized up, I am having problems prying one out as well. Anyone have any suggestions. Thx

Put the caliper back together, bolt it back to the knuckle but leave out the pads. Hook up the brake line. Stomp on the brake pedal HARD, the pistons will pop right out. You'll need the rotor installed too, BTW.

just get remanufactured ones.... ones direct from toyota last a lot longer but are kinda expensive.... i think they were $110 a piece after getting the core back that was unloaded as well.... but you can get them loaded from several auto supliers... i think the last set i got was autopride they were $88 for both calipers, loaded with all new hardware... just bolt em on, bleed em and you are ready to go...

Going to do the LC vented rotor swap and ifs calipers on my 85 axle. You think they will notice any difference if I give them my 85 calipers for a core for some ifs ones. I read some where they can't tell.

Also where can I get some LC rotors for cheap besides Marlin or All Pro.

hmm.... its possible.... i know the bolts on the solid axle calipers are longer (i lost one for my ifs and took one from some parts i had)..... but if your ifs ones are locked up and trashed anyway what's the point?.... they really are not worth rebuilding i looked into it trying to be cheap since i have replaced 4 in the past year between 2 trucks....
