You're welcome!!

So glad to hear we're still over 150.

There's been at least 10 helo rides since I started pushing CalStar and those are 10 people that did not expect to ever need one.

Thats awesome... It was $35 in October (>15 members).
We are just barely over 150....so depending on renewals, we must have dipped below 150 in October.

We're headed up to the Rubicon in a couple weeks and finally got around to doing this. I had a $35 and $30 option so the group must still be at 150+. Reading about the recent accident reminded me to sign up. I do some mountain biking too and have seen a few guys have to get airlifted off the trail.

I renewed this morning and was prompted to pay $35 with the FOTR group discount. Still a deal, I didn't mind paying one bit.

2hrs later I just got a $5 refund notice so I guess we are down to $30.

Guys sign up... Get your Ham licenses, build your cages strong, wear your seat belts, drive smart, and don't piss on the rattlers.

Ken,
how about a few more details other than "Calstar is going away"?
closing their doors?
no more FOTR discount?
I spoke with CalStar this morning and asked if they were going out of business based on a cryptic post I saw from an RTF Director on the internet.

Response was a confused "Not that I'm aware of, pretty sure we aint going away". She seemed a little perturbed that someone is hinting to that fact.

Maybe Ken can shed some more light on the intentions of his post or maybe let us in on his inside info.

For now I am maintaining my membership.

Tim.
