Looks like a G52 t.o me also.....look inside the bellhousing, the bellhousing is removeable right???



If so, then yes, definitly a G52. Only G52 and W56's have removeable bellhousings.......TMK:D

22R carb G52 84-85, and G54 85-88 twin stick trans have 8 bolts in the center.

22R efi W56 (early) 85-88 pick up, and 85-89 runners single stick trans have 9 bolts in the center.
22R efi W56 (late) 89-95 pick up, and 90-95 runners twin stick trans have 9 bolts in the center.

22R turbo R151F 86-87 twin stick trans have 10 bolts in the center.
3.0 V6 R150F 88-95 single stick trans have 10 bolts in the center.


Your trans is a G52/54. Check for a 1/8" rubber gasket under the 4 bolt t-case lever base. If you have this gasket, it is most likely a early G52!
