i didnt know you were one in the same mace ....Jason M said:lol
Didn't I already tell you this????
sorry that was the rear.....Jason M said:sounds like it..
does the rear do the same thing?
With only one wheel turning on an open diff, the spiders are basically doubling your ratio for you. Measure accuratly your pinion to wheel turns, then double it. To me it sounds like you've got stock 4.11s in the front and 4.88s in the rear. 5.29 cruiser gears are pretty rare and just over one pinion turn for five tire turns computes to 4.88 to me. That would bind like a mofo on pavement.AVS60/40SPLIT said:so 2:1 with one tire on the ground makes sense
jason, i'm not following you on this comment.
are you saying the rear sounds like a 4.88? with the 5 to 1+ rotations
but what about the front? this is what is throwing me off......
cause with the whole rig in the air, the front tires spin quite a bit quicker
than the rears.
then on flat ground wheels straight,i can go maybe 5ft before it binds up.
