I think someone got a great deal on those chips. I would look for aftermarket fenders and spend a few bucks if u want looks if not run them looks great.
j.c whitney is a cheap place and there are more out there just use the search
chevy parts ect
did you do that drunk? :flipoff2:

Charlo
Nope :bender: But I'll bet the guy who did it was. I bought it like that last weekend. Might as well just go with it now. I'm serching out a few nicely cut K-5's...
That your truck Noodles? Saw that truck a few months back on the 'Con....I think you had broke a rag joint or something? Or maybe one of the guys with you. I was riding in my buds (BayAreaWheeler) toy buggy thing on 44" Boggers- Its called Mad Max...:flipoff2:
damn dude those fenders are in need of some desperate attention!!!!!! grind them down so they are not all fawked up or something...

35's!! looks like stock tires, holy! GOOD LUCK
just cut them out more and get some of those bushwacker cut out flares. they kinda suck if you wheel it, but if it's just for towing or street, they work good.
Thanks for the advice, Looks like it's just gonna be a Tow / Cruz the beach rig. I've got a Sammy on 38's for the Nasty stuf. I'm gonna search out the Cut out flares, I'd like to see a pic of a set up close. I'm also looking at the Colorado K-5 site for some cutting ideias. I've decided that they will get cut more and cleaned up. Still working out the details while I'm building the engine. Not sure I want to go quite as extreme as the Blazer in the pic above but somthing inbetween while trying to bring back the original fender opening lines.

Point taken.... It aint gonna be a rock crawler BUT I've got to have a tow vehicle as I'm not driving a Sammy on 38's 400+ miles one way to Tellico. But if the Sammy breaks early then we'll cruz the 1-ton on the lighter stuff. So Yea, a 1-ton 4dr 4x4 aint a rock crawler but still don't mean it doesn' belong.... It could one day see some rocks even if it isn't the extrame stuff. Plus there are some nicely cut front fenders o some of the rock rigs. Last time out my buddy pressed the 98 4-Runner into service, when he blew out his rear locker first thing.

Sweeeet Sami. Didn't see that you were going to use this for a tow rig. Make it look like WillysWanters lol:D

But seriously, just put some stockers on there. Probably could get them for real cheap at a junk yard, or buy them new for 50 bucks or so. Nice rig.

my fender trim

here is a pic of my truck with 42's and a home made fender trim. i had a friend do the trim cause he had some experience with body work, but i am convinced that i could do just as good a job if i concentrated. but i think it turned out nice. i ended up welding up the gaps between the inner and outer fenders. you could even get a sock set of fenders and just cut em to your taste, it is not hard. we used a 4" angle grinder.

sorry for the size of the picture

Okay first off, Does the truck still have the 60 up front??? If so i got a good 44 and some cash for it:D

And the other thing, Leave the fenders how they are, It looks a little white trash but those rigs are the best, I love seeing 3+3's cruisin down the road with a set of cut to fit 35's... Riminds me of the movie madmax..
