i snapped the extension housing the other day.
I've just finished replacing it and cleaning up some other areas thet needed attention...
but now...
i can't get the driveshaft back in cuz the slip yoke gets stuck half way.
???

I drove the jeep home in 4wd from the hiway where all this happened...(long story don't ask)...so my front wheels pull me home.
I pulled into the garage in 4wd and have since popped it back into 2wd when the jeep has been shut off and tranny into neutral.
do i have to have my jeep rolling to get it totally outa 4wd? Is this why i can't get it in?
i can't thinka anything else.
I fiddled around there for a while but can't get it to go.
