i purchased a used front axel assembly from a salvage yard, they said it came off a 1993 dodge ram w250, i can't seem to find a rotor that is big enough in diameter to fit over the plate that holds the lug studs. tag on axel 4.09 45-11 casting on the housing near the pig, 44 - 8 -F 42204 on the cover dana 41545 256-8 REV-8 or B 03-01-88

I thought all d44 rotors were pinned on from the back.

Is that the same axle with the fucking goofy spindle size? I thought that was a drum brake axle?

The plate that holds the lugs is called a hub. Going by the DANA BOM, there is no variant of "42204" listed. It has been 10+ years since I worked on a 1990s Dodge, but, to me that hub looks bigger then the Dana 44 with 1/2" studs. If the studs are 9/16 (or 5/8) then it is the HD version (aka snow fighter package sometimes or the 4500-4600# axle) . If you look up the axle on oreillys

you will see two different sized rotors listed, you probably need the one that is 3.09" tall vs. the 2.8#" one.

This is why I don't buu anything dodge. Everything they have is just fucked up.
This, this is why i prefer gm for outer parts. Same shit for 20 years.

Id say the only thing worse than dodge was jeep from late 60s-early 90s. Must have 10 different designs and mish mashed combonations.
But ford is just as bad.

I did wheel bearing on a 91 gas d250 and i swear it was a pinned rotor.
