I just bought a 74 FJ40, but I need a new carb to get it smogged (in CA). Where is the best place to get one (Sacramento area) for a 2F engine? Is there any one brand/type that is better than the others? I am new to this and I just wnt to do it right the first time. I also need a new master cylinder and was told that they do not make a new one for a 74 (only a rebuild kit) but they do for a 75. Will the 75 master cyliner work in my 74, or is there another new one that will work? Thanks for any help anyone can give.

if the bolts line up to the booster the master should work fine. as for your carb i belive there is a guy who rebuilds em but youd have to send it away, as for local i do not know any carb shops in the area, im new to sac still! jiMMy
