I just got a 87 toy truck with the 4cyl in it and the carb cuts out over bumps and inclines at high speeds. any way of fixing it.

I want to convert the A/C pump to a compressor do it need to oil it manually or does it have a sump?

Make sure the wires to your fuel cut off solenoid are not shorting. Had that problem.
On the ac pump you need a oiler on the input and a seporater on the output.
Hope that helps

I am not able to hear your truck's problem first-hand, but have you replaced the PCV valve on the rocker cover? I have had bump-sensitive and vacuum sensitive problems with them before. They are so cheap and easy to replace, it may be worth a look.

I am not familiar with the 22r carbs yet, so this might be off base, but I have run into similarr problems with other carbs when the float level was set too low or the inlet check valve was sticking. Might be worth a look if the other suggestions don't help.

GHG might be onto something there...check the sight glass while parked on a level surface and look at the fuel level...that will tell ya if the float is set anywhere near where it was supposed to be.
