so i got a 1972 jeep j2000 with an AMC 360 that needs a new carb. im thinkin about getting a holley 350 2-bbl. the holley has a manual choke and my truck has an automatic choke so this means i need the Electric Choke Conversion Kit for the holley right? may be a dumb question but just wanna make sure

If you MUST put a carb back on it and wanna do it on the cheap, I would recommend a Motorcraft carb. They are cheap, simple, and they work decent off road. However, my ultimate suggestion is to ditch the carb all together and go with a TBI setup from Howe or build your own system. It can be done for pretty cheap.

By the way, is it Tuesday already?

You can get 99% of the parts to make it work at a junk yard. It WILL NOT cost you $1200 to do it. By the way, this is HARDCORE tech, and the last time I checked, there is nothing hardcore about a carb...

Like previously posted, TBI is the way to go.
