My truck is difficult to start when it sat for a few hours or more.

If it is warmed up, and I turn it off, and go to re-start it, she fires up instantly and runs good.

So my problem is just really from a cold startup.. It turns over for about 20 seconds before it coughs and struggles etc..
And once it does start, if I try to push the gas, it bogs and dies again.

Is there some adjustment that I can do?

Truck is a 1980 GMC 3/4 Ton, with a 350 and stock carb. I think it's electronic choke, not sure if its working or not though...

Any help, much appreciated

Take your air filter off in the morning. Push the throttle by hand while watching inside the carb into the tunnels. If the squirt is very weak and not a strong jet, you need a new accelerator pump. This is included in a carb rebuild kit. Takes about an hour of work to tear open and close up a carb.

Kits are around $15
