Sweet rig!!! Very beefy looking. Who's is it?

some dude in austrailia. i found it looking when i was looking at a link on the general discussion. looks like a good set up. looks like cut the frame and made a sweet set up for a coil suspension. there isn't anything about it though.

I love coil setups. They rock!

It looks like Ford front radius arms in
the rear and also I see a bar running
across like a steering link. I bet he
has rear steering.

sign me up. i'd love to put coils and rear steering on my 4runner!! if anyone finds info on this truck, or a similar rear suspension, let me know.

not coils

it has air bags in the rear with leafs in the front

thats not rear steer, i thought so too from the other pic, any idea what it is?

I'd almost bet that the rear bar you guys see is a panhard rod(bar). It locates the axle from moving horizontily. Very common on rear coil setups, and since those airbags look like they are in the same place as 2nd gen 4runner coils, so is that bar???JMO

It seems like kinda a slow site (even on my cable modem <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0"> ), but there are pics, etc from Australia on there. Maybe someone can luck out and find some tech info on this truck...

I don't know about that panhard drop down bracket <IMG SRC="smilies/eek.gif" border="0"> a little over kill should of raise the other one and lived with a slight angle .

airbags bla bla bla. I dig the sides of the bed !! hmmmmm maybee I need to start saving pix.

Kong's 4x4 in Phoenix is cutting the coil suspension off of 3rd gen. 4 runner. maybe you could buy the stuff and put it in yours.
