Well i have a chevy 350 in my toyota land cruiser and i cant seem to figure out why it isnt running. I parked it at a buddys shop for a month or 2 and i come back and it wont start. I turn the key and it is getting electricity but instead of turning over it just clicks once and then nothing. I have replaced the battery and the starter so far and neither have helped. I dont want to spend anymore money on parts that arent going to fix it. Any idea's?

Could be a bad battery cable, solenoid if you didnt change it, or wireing. Try jumping it with a screwdriver and see if it does anything then.

try the negative connection and make sure the surface on the frame or body(whichever it bolts to) is clean, the easiest way to find a bad connection is while hitting the key, have somebody else look under the truck or in the engine compartment for a little sparking action. Also pull of the terminal clamps and make sure they are clean, if you remove them and there are little blck burnt marks in the clamps, you have been jumping sparks between the terminal clamp and the batteriy post. note to self " a battery terminal cleaner is a good investment"

I have had this before. If through your search for sparks and burns you don't find anything out of the norm, try this. While your rig is in gear, move it foreward then back a couple of times. It won't go far, but any should be enough. I say this because what happened to me is my starter gear teeth got missalined with the flywheel and the starter would not fully engage. Shot in the dark, but give it a try if you don't find an electrical resolution.
It is a possibility even though you changed the starter already.
