CJ 5 filler hose

I have a '76 CJ-5. I need a new filler hose for the gas tank. I cant seem to locate one. It is about 2 1/2" diameter, and has the 3/4" vent hose "spliced" into it. Any ideas??

They're available. Search your local shop. Or try any number of online dealers. Just be glad you're not looking for the vent hose... now that's hard to find.

I have been looking for a while now. The larger filler hose has a fitting built into it, this allows the smaller hose to attach to it. I have not been able to locate this hose.

Hell Willy's Works carries it. I used that same hose on my 71 when I had it. Check with specialty parts or quadratech, they should both stock it too.

Nope, None of the bigger shops have it,.. I have tried quadratech, specialty parts, 4WD Hdwe, Leon Rosser. If you look at the part I need in the catalog and you find the years for this part, they all skip 76-77's.

Have you tried Collins Brothers? They can get NOS parts and other hard to find stuff. Have you though about switching the tank to a newer style? It may be an easier route for a few bucks more.

I already have the larger aftermarket tank made by "aero" or "arrow"?? But the filler hose is stock, I would have to switch the filler neck in order to use a different hose? They are pretty exp. also!!
