ok i have a th350 bolted to a clocked almost flat d300. i made a custom skidplate and the lowest part of the d300 were the gear protrudes it hitting the skid. ya think its ok to run it like that or should i space it a little i have to space the skid down cant space the t case up its as far as it can go and theres not any floor left to cut out for clearance i already introduced it to the sawzall. so what ya think?

It takes a little time but dirt will wear a hole through the pan and start to leak. If you can grind out some room for it so they don't touch.

I ran my 300 grinding on the skid for about a year and put a nice little hole in the inspection plate. Now I can't get the thing to stop leaking. I would fix it before it is a problem. Or else I will trade you covers.

You can fab up a crossmember...so then you can fab up a spacer to go under the tranny mount to raise it a bit and keep from ruining your t case.

i guess ill sacrafice a 1/2 inch and drop the skid and put a spacer between it and the tranny mount
