I swapped out the safety switch and several fuses, I don't get any crank or noise at all when I try to turn it over. Am i missing something or need to check another point of interest?

Since this is your first post I’m going to ask for a bunch of information because your question is lacking.

how did you decide that you needed a clutch switch?
Did you try bypassing the clutch switch?
Did you touch anything else on your truck?
Is your fuel pump coming on when you turn the key? Do the gauges/lights come on?
What is the vehicle?

Its an 89 F150 xlt lariat, L6 4.9 with a 5spd. Gauges and lights come on, fuel pump is on its own switch

How would I bypass the switch?

ground the wire that goes to it.
There's a 6 wire connector going to the switch.

Makes it a little more complicated. Do you have a wiring diagram?
I'm trying to find one, might just try to wire it to a toggle switch when I figure out what's what
Awesome. Now you can verify all you need to know to see if it’s the wiring that’s bad or something else. It’s it’s the wiring you’ll probably find and open and that’ll be your issue. Ohm out the wires to check for grounds and volts to verify the hot wires. It’ll take time to wrap your head around all the wires but report back with what you’ve found . Someone will def be able to help you out more.

Use test light...check red/blue wire at switch/after switch for power while trying to start.
