I was confused by some lingo the code scanner used. Anyone familiar with using them please tell me your opinion.
2 questions.

1. Scanner said "knk signal.............NO"
does that mean there are no knocks detected? or no signal(meaning no sensor) detected?

2. Scanner said "Park\Neutral Switch.......OFF"
In order for my TCC to lock up the park/neutral wire need to be grounded when the vehicle is in park or neutral. So does "off" mean the circut is closed or open? An open circut would be OFF in my opinion, but I could see some one saying the circut OFF when the car is not in park or neutral.

Thanks guys

I am not sure of your question #2 but I am pretty sure for #1 the "NO" means Normally On. The SnapOn scanner I use shows it differently but I think that is what it means. I have been wrong before. Hope this helps.
