Just got back from the store and noticed a coolant type smell, I looked into the engine bay and saw coolant coming out from the crossover section of the exhaust manifold.
I tried to start it again, but wouldn't even crank over. No coolant in the oil section, just from exhaust manifold.

Possible headgasket blown???

If a blown headgasket, is Toyota still doing that recall for the headgaskets???
It's a V6 89 4Runner
Any idea's or suggestions would be helpful

Head gasket if you are lucky, otherwise, busted head.
Run your VIN number by the toyota dealer, I know they will be able to tell you if your truck had the recall work done. I believe you only get one shot though, and I do not know if they will still do it if it hasn't been done. Let us know what you find out. Good luck.

Your truck being twelve years old, the yota dealership will probably laugh at you if you ask about a recall on it. Usually, there are restrictions on such recalls, for time and mileage.

Definitly sounds like blown headgasket or cracked head. It would not turn over because it is hydro-locked.

If you have coolant running out of your crossover tube, you've got a cracked head. I would go as far as saying it is the area around one of your exhaust valves.
