Hey all,

I have a moderately built CJ and was looking at putting Corbeau seats
and harnesses in to replace the stock Steel Horse seats currently installed.
I was thinking of installing the Baja SS for the passenger and a Baja Ultra
for the driver. I'm curious of those of you who installed these seats were
you pleased with the comfort and durability of these seats? Did you use the
stock seat brackets or did you order the replacements? Any information you
can provide regarding the installation and or problems overcame would be
appreciated.:homer:

Got two ultra SS in my YJ atm, very pleased with them they hold you in place all right. Comfort is also nice, better then original seat at least.

I added tubes to my roll cage in order to bolt these up, but Corbeau sells brackets for cj's to intall in your original place. Or you can use the brackets from your old seats and modify them to fit your corbeau seats.

Took about 2 hours to fit on the roll cage and adjust. Someone with actual skills can prob do this a lot faster

Hope this helped

I used the stock bracket mounts and I felt like My head was over the windshield....Plus I couldn't get my leg under the steering wheel.

So I bought the Corbeau Brackets with sliders...This works great. I re-used the other brackets that I first bought to mount to the Sliders.

It works good and is very Comfortable. I too have the Baja seats with the 4 point harnesses.
