Seems a while back I read on a website that a 84 Vette alternator could be swapped in place of most AMC factory alts. Tried the search, tried google, tried every damn search I could find. No luck.
Anyone know what year Vette alt works on an AMC 360 (82 model 360)? Auto Zone's site only lists a 108 amp alt for early to mid 80's Vettes. Seems logical to spend $60 for a Vette alt vs. $300 or more for a Jeep specific alt.
