Pay careful attention to the area directly behind the gastank, it trapps water/sand/drivewayrocks realy easy. the other place common is where the frame swoops down right in front of the axel. To fix it the best way i discoved is to just chop it off and take a piece of box stock and shape it to the frame shape.then just slip inside older frame. stronger than stock! <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

If Techguru73's still around I will try and post some pics of my frame cracks. Cracked in the same place on two trucks so its probably common on those of you who prerun or gennerally abuse your trucks. It is caused by excessive air abuse so those of you who stay on the ground (or rocks) should not see this problem.

Mine cracked all along the frame box seam on the passenger side inboard of the upper A-arm. When we did the SAS (I aint a welder - had a shop do the cutting and welding) they told me there was an 18 inch long crack running lengthwise down the frame rail where the box was welded together. It had been making a popping noise when the IFS got crossed up, so there you go. The SAS was just in time!
