THOUGHT I WOULD DO A LITTLE BUILD THREAD OF MY RIG. I AM A MECHANIC IN THE COAST GUARD AND WORKING ON A BUDGET. MY GOAL IS 10K$ AND IM PRETTY MUCH ON TRACK. MY GOAL WAS TO RECYCLE AND USE AS MANY THINGS OFF CRAIGSLIST AS I COULD (HENCE THE NAME). HERE IS A BREAK DOWN OF PARTS:

1977 DANA 44 AND GM 12 BOLT TRUCK : 200$
1987 TURBO 350 AND NP203 AND DRIVE SHAFTS: 200$
1995 4.3L V6 VORTEC CPI W/ HARNESS: 600$
2 "RACING" TYPE SEATS : 100$
2 ROAD ARMOR 5 POINT HARNESS: 100$
CAMPION ALUMINUM RADIATOR: 60$
1957 CHEVY BEL AIR HOOD: 60$
5 X 39.5" IROKS ON BEDLOCKS : 600$
9K WINCH : 200$
16 GAL FUEL CELL : 100$

The chassis is 1 1/2" .120 wall. Its triangulated 4 link with 18" fox air shocks. Im trying to make this a really simple trail rig. Minimal wiring and a simple drivetrain.

I wanted a simple clean interior and this is how is coming out and the specs

The sheet metal is 20ga cold rolled, 6- 2" glowshift guages, sidewinder shifter, police siren, jensen marine radio puck and marine speakers, simple 4wd shifter, 12volt guy ignition and switch panel

Looks good, and dig the hood being different. How far are the lower link brackets from the brake flange? Looks like you could me them 4-6" out board. Any reason they're inboard?
