ORD is good. I got my stuff from Rockstomper.com myself. RS stuff is generally a little cheaper than ORD but at the same time VERY beefy componets. I cant imagine breaking the rock rod I got from them... unless I get hit by a train or drive off a cliff or something... and at that point, I wont care anyway. ;)

I got my Arms from Shaker (Tim Fryer), I think at the time his were like $100 for the set, this was for a 44, or 10 bolt though. I bought some. I used 1 1/2" DOM tubing and avalanche tubing adapters, with QA-1 3/4" heims. I have no complaints.

if you pay them more $, Im sure rockstomper can do hysteer. I dont really see the point personally... the tie rod is already higher than the bottom of the axle tubes... so hysteer is prettymuch excessive IMO. $ is better spent elsewhere. Only problem i can forsee is that a steering stabilizer or hydro ram could get bashed... of course if you mount the thing above the tierod, thats not a problem anymore either so....

also, i run low lift... when you do hysteer with just 4" of lift, you're starting to really cram steering componets into a small space. i didnt want the extra hassle. my 2 cents...

Another plug for Tim.
Got my arm a couple of days ago and it looks great. Had a couple of questions about it so I e-mailed him. He came right back with the answers and was real concerned if I was happy with it.

Quality work and customer satisfaction. Why cant all businesses be that way? He'll be getting some more of my money.

one would hope that we are all learning new things all the time. I was looking at my ram today, it wouldnt be hard at all to mount the ram from a custom diffguard to the top of the tie rod. In that position could it get hit by a rock? sure, if it was a pointy enuff to fit between the diff guard and tie rod or if it stuck out enuff that it could go over the top of the tierod... of course the same rock could hit it if it was a hysteer setup as well. I think the only thing that needs to be "learned" here is that throwing money at a potential problem isnt always the only way to solve it.

at any rate,my opinion remains unchanged, there are LOTS of other places to better spend your offroad dollar. If you're rich than sure, do every mod you've ever heard of... not all of us are so fortunate.
