I picked up a new milwaukee chopsaw this weekend for $20 because the chop saw was broken off of the base and they threw out the base and hinge. There is enough room to get an arm on it, but I was wondering if anybody has made a custom hing or base for their chopsaw?
or if anybody has any ideas for me?

it is the model #6176-20

Thanks
Jason

Build it so that you can change the angle in both directions. The saws that I have used are only able to do it in one...kinda a PITA

you might want to look into buying a new base from a Milwaukee parts place. all of the parts i have bought from my Milwaukee power tools have been surprisingly cheap ($$$ wise) and made it worth repairing the tools instead of replacing them.
