More tech pics of the redhead :smoking: :flipoff2:
#harllaaayyy I think. She's a 20 something pipeline welder. She was sponsored in the flametech scorpion booth. Been on a couple podcasts with arcjunkies.

Is that one of those weldtables.com tables?
It is. 36x60 with an extra 12 wing to make it 72.

Designing one now to house a full chassis including wheelbase, with adjustability. Two 36x50, one on each end, and a 50x50 in the center, 17" high.

Fuel cell is mounted on the bottom, pucks ready on the top. The basket will bolt to pucks, attached to rear, upper tailgate bar, and a forth coming rear seat harness bar. The cell will be contained via upper and lower pucks- through the basket and harness bar. Slots on back wall of basket are for the harnesses.

Slots around 3 sides of basket for containment of tools/ amenities.

To be welded Friday.

The cell is baffled and the top pucks are directly over the baffle.

What diameter filler rod are you using to weld the pucks on the cell?

silver tungsten will keep a sharper point for thin job's. Grind the edges of the parts if cut on a laser or plasma.
Weld that shit every day.

All weldered up, ready for attachment and harness bar.

Some of my best tig aluminum welds to date. Very happy (and addicted, ready to lay more aluminum dabs.)

So did the customer have any imput on the design or did he just say "Make it look cool".

In any case, it does!
Just wanted a fuel cell and basket.

Fortunately all my current projects have given me creative freedom basically in my design style. Nothing groundbreaking, all good, ls, ton buggies, on good chassis', with similar parts list...They all just want one they can call their own.

Thanks!

Thanks Steve.

Question for you in particular. Your 4 seater ; had any trouble with your trans cooler mounted here?

Only place I have to put them that's not in the passenger area behind front seats, (sam is using 2; steering and trans), one per side.

Nice work, keep posting. Especially that JHF chassis.
Thank you. It's getting progress soon. Owner decide to ditch the super 60 and steering 14 bolt, in exchange for two, steering, trail gear 9's with super duty knuckles. Also sent me the trail ready 20's and 42 reds.

FWIW, mine is just like that as well (PJ put mine there) and I have never had a single issue with it. I've never even gotten close to overheating my trans. Its not a 4 seater obviously...but no issues with it whatsoever.

not the greatest pic, but you can see it there
