Is there a kit that I can use to convert the 8bolt d-60 rear to 6lug. Im looking at cost for this vs the potential of having to make my front d44 a 8bolt. Is there a disc brake kit that will allow me to do this easiest. Basically I want to have either 8bolt or 6bolt, either one. Looking for answers/opinions....contribute to the cause man! <IMG SRC="smilies/roxy.gif" border="0">

Are you going to leave the 60 full floater? If you do it is possible on some of the FF hubs to re-drill them to 6 lug. It is alot of work.

The answers that you are going to get is to convert your front to 8 lug and get new rims. It is so much easier to go that route. I have heard so many people ask about converting an 8 lug FF rear axle to 6 lug, and everyone ends up just staying with 8 lug. Your other option is to convert the FF axle to a SF axle and use the Ford 9" setup on the outter axle and then convert to 6 lug.
