Yup, the 5.13 uses the 4.88 pinion71RCKCRZR RYAN said:I DONT KNOW THE %% ##S BUT 513S ARE A LOT STONER THAN 538 ......SOMTHING TO DO WITH THE # OF PINION TEETH I THINK
Where did you get the 538's for the nine? Been running 538's in 44's with 38's, the front HP and the rear reg 44, breaking alloy shafts in the rear. Gonna upgrade rear, currie said no 538's for the nine? Thought my only option was 60, had rather build the 9. thanks4Bangler said:2.5L 4cyl/SM420/NP231/LP Dana44 Front/EB 9" Rear, Ox up front, spool out back, 5.38's, 35" MTR's, no R&P failures thus far, almost 2yrs on them and broke 4 stock front shafts.
37's might be pushing it with a Dana 44......40's IS pushing it.
Actually they are 5.37's, whoopdy doo. Currie prolly meant no 5.38's for their weak-ass "not meant for tires over 33" HP 9"(really HP 8.8" in a 9" housing) thingy-ma-bobpapastoy said:Where did you get the 538's for the nine? how's that work? if you ran a 4.88 pinion, you'd have 4.88 gears. 5.13 has to be a physically smaller pinion than 4.88 because of larger gear ratio.welndmn said:

I run 5.13's
