Wondering how a D44 will handle skinny 38" boggers? They will be on a early bronco with a big block that sees more mud than hardcore rocks. Although I will see East Coast rocks occasionally. Has anyone tried the combo with success?
Thanks,
Chad

Like this rig:

He had a rowdy 460, C6, D44/60, 38" Boggers. He normally mud drags the rig, but it worked pretty good on the rocks in SoDak, even ran Hal Johns with out a problem, and he isn't light on the throttle. You might be alright, but any wider and the axle will die a swift death.

I'm running 40's X15 tsl's on a 44 with moser alloys. I have gone through a few u- joints, but everything else has held up fine. And I'v hammered pretty hard on them.
Its on a 91 wrangler 4.0L.

Yeah both axles and pulling 2 ball joints out in the same spot was neat <IMG SRC="smilies/nuke.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/nuke.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/nuke.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
