Ok first I dont want to be slammed for building a D44.

The question is, I have to put new ends on the 44 Reverse cut, was concidering large bearing Ford?. But I would also like to run disc brakes, this is for the rear and it is going in a YJ.

Does anyone know of a disc brake setup that will bolt to these ends?, or should I use a different end? and what disc brake set-up?. I dont want to pay the price for the new kits, I am a cheap scate, plus I love crawlin around in junk yards. Or should I just go to 11" drums?

Thxs,

small bearing cheby outers and knuckles, ford discs and cheby brakes. this way you can go high steer later too.
Did you read his post? He is putting together a REAR Dana 44 by cutting down a reverse-cut axle and putting Ford rear axle ends on it. I don't think he cares about high-steer.
