I thought I'd share -
I found a perfect fit full circle snap ring for the 760 u-joints.

Friggin' $2 a piece! But it's the only place I could find them.

I found them at ACE in galt.. You just have to go look at the parts bin

Yup, home depot, ace, lowes, bearing supply, rainbow fasteners...

the problem is in the thickness of the snap ring? if so McMasters sells them in the correct thickness for about 20 bucks for a package of 50. i also went to many places and even the ones that warn specifies in their premium axels is the wrong part for the correct thickness. i could look up the part number if you want but i ordered mine online and had delivery within 5 days.

That's what I thought! We deal w/ a great bearing shop and I thought it'd be no problem, but I was wrong.

I just bought 76 of em from metric specialties as suggested by some people on here. I haven't recieved them yet but if anybody needs some I'd sell them for $5 to do a pair of axles, shipped.

I've been using the Home Depot ones for years now.
Doesn't seem that 0.2mm or whatever they are thinner really matters much.
