Should I go with a D44 Rev. or a D60 on my project YJ? I'll be running 37" boggers, 4.9 stroker(roughly 325 hp/torque), 435/300, 4.56 gears. Will a 44 with Moser shafts and all the other goodies hold up under my lead foot with a locker?

depends - if you want "it'l be fine" go 44's. If you want "more than fine" - go 60 <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0">

if your a throttle jockey your gonna brea stuff with a 44. it just depends how much you enjoy fixing a broke axle while sitting on a nicly padded wallet, or wheeling with an empty wallet

no brainer.......D60. Even with a Toy 4cly I broken (2) u-joints in my D44. For 90% of my wheeling it does great but its that 10% that sucks.

Oh and 2 ball joints dusted too...........

with a v8 i used to break my old d44 u-joints and hubs. yes i like to "give it one more try" and use the that skinny one on the floor like and on/off switch when i do but hey do it right the first time and get the 60. it'll only save you $$$ ion the long run.

Don't spend the $$$ on a 44 to just put in a 60 later. 37" boggers is asking alot from a 44.

i snapped d44 shafts every time i went out with 35 boggers. i only wheeled the d44 with the 37s once and actually didnt break it, i knew better though and have 1 tons now

I think the wider 35's are harder on parts then the narrower 37's, thats why i may go 38.5 instead of 35x14.50's

It is all in yer driving. I run 38 sx's, never a break, not even a joint. But, I never spin the tires hard or hop it.

Well I HAMMERED my rig last weekend, harder than I ever have. We had zero breakage. The 37's weigh about half what my 39.5 Boggers do, so I know that helped a LOT. Of course I also changed all the ujoints out after each day whether they needed to be replaced, or not.
