Can this be easily done, or would I be better off putting the super short JB Conversions SYE on my 231?

I am trying to come up with a decent way of maintaining driver's side drop, while eliminating (if possible) the 231. Ford D20's can be a little rare around here, and I don't need a 205 in my YJ.

TIA

Finding an adapter will be difficult. Gearing won't be as good as the 231 that you have now. You'll also prolly have to buy 2 driveshafts instead of 1.
Do the SYE.

I should probably add a little more information:

I currently have a 90 YJ with the 2.5l. I'm running stock gearing with 31's. I would like to start gathering parts to run 35's with the possibility of eventually going bigger.

I would prefer to run a sb350, and mate the D20 to the 465. I also wish to run Ford diffs f/r (hence the dd).

If I have to run the Ford302 instead, I will wind up with a complete donor vehicle, which will either come with a 205 or a BW chain-driven unit which I would prefer to avoid. Like I said in the original post, Ford D20's are a little rare around here..

Thanks
