Dana 300 flip (cheap & easy)

Stainless twin stick shifter kit for a flipped Dana 300 .
No longer well one have to spend big $$$ to flip a Dana 300 to drivers drop. with this "VARY simple" shifter one can just bolt the sticks onto a stock Dana 300
and flip it to drivers drop.

$169 with shipping

I don`t have a tail housing from a tf999 in the shop. but just bolt a crawl box to the back of it and then bolt the dana 300

I would be interested in this, but I would need to know if it will bolt to a TF999 without any issues. I won't buy until I know.

Ok, now you got me really interested Duffy.

I was planning on your 241 doubler (to a Ford 205).

This would be waaaaayyyy better.

Big question though, when flipping a D300 I thought the shift rails had to be relocated to the top of the case (in a plate inbetween the original drain cover) so that the fluid doesn't leak out of the rail seals.

What is the solution.

I was also wondering this?

I don`t see a problem with the seals. heck the output shafts run in oil with only a lip seal, so why can`t the shift rods?

They well fit fine, the only problem I could see is there going to be on the drivers side and sit back a ways

But the upside is woman might enjoy driving more

Hey Duff,

Nice job.

Quick question, how does the stock ft bearing retainer/shifter tower have to be modified to fit the shifter bracket?

Also, could you post a pic of just the bracket (unmounted).

Thanks,
Jimmy

There is no mods made to the case the shifters are 100% bolt on.

( its simple to make somethang work, its hard to make somethang simple)

OK.
It might be because the pic is small, and from face on (not a side shot), but it didn't look like the stock cast shifter hanger bracket was still there.

edit, I compared your pics to some others (my D300's bracket is long gone, so I can't compare it to that), and I can see the bracket now.

Thanks,
Jimmy

Is there enough room to run a 1350 cv on the front output?
