Hey
So I'm out side today looking at my truck and i notice that my front driver side tire is on about a 10 degree angle. Jack it up and shook the tire. Clunk. Ball joints are gone. My axle is a closed knuckle 44 does that mean it is harder or easier to to the ball joints. From what i understand you remove the covers on the knuckle then you will have access to the balljoints??

Here is some pics of the axle for referance.

Is this a job that is pretty hard. scale 1 - 10.
Thanks for the replies.

Are you sure it's not your wheel bearings, or your spindle nuts don't need to be adjusted ?

Definitly double check your hub bearings before buying parts.
I am not familiar with close knuckle D44s, but it sounds like somebody was talking about kingpins when they told about removing covers to repair them.

Pics of your axle all covered in goo are really not much help.
