Hi,
Found on a junkyard a front axle retrofitted on a E series van, 1986. 8 lug.
It is a dana44... but it is on coil springs and does not use C-clamp. Not used to dana or ford so... kind of struggling here.
Need to buy bushings... brake parts... and have no idea what references to use...

There’s several threads on here I know of axles out of Ford vans. What I recall is them being bought by the conversion companies and being built specifically for them By Dana. Some of them pretty hack and very one off.

the axle tube lengths lead me to believe it might be a 76-77 f150 housing (78-79 housing would have cast wedges) with 76-79 f250 outers? But just a guess.

search van axles here in Ford section see if any thing helps you.

Van axles and suspension are solely supplied by the conversion company. They are complete bastards in every respect.

Best bet is to hunt down who built it.

I think I found it. Pathfinder Quadravan.
Now.. who has those... partnumbers for bushings... and even brake pads...

Pull a set of pads off and bushings and go to your local Napa or reibes auto parts. You’ll be in the ball park already with parts in your hands and they have books and books of parts.
