I am wanting to install a dana 60 front and 14 bolt rear out of and old Chevy army ambulance in my 77 CJ5. These are full width axles and will hold 44" TSL's to replace the 38" ones on there now. So far the only problems I see are the steering and driveshafts. For now I am planning on using the Jeep driveshafts until I upgrade the Dana 20 TC to an Atlas II, then having custom shafts built. Does anyone make a crossover U-Joint from the Jeep TC to the Dana 60 and 14 Bolt axles? Also, if anyone has ever done this before how did you do the steering? Does someone make a steering arm adapter for the 60? Any advice appreciated. Probly missing something but my wife bought me a new sawzall for Christmas and I gotta get back outside and cut something.

Please tell me you are stretching your wheelbase to around 100" (minimum) or so with 44's...

Also, I would expect the Dana 20 to last about 3 minutes with that setup.
