I have a rear Full Floating Dana 60HD out of a Dodge. My question is, the nut that holds the hub on to the spindle is different than any I have ever seen and it looks like it should have more. Normally there is a big washer, nut, lock tab washer, and then another nut. Mine only has a big nut with a plastic locking ring on it that seats right up on the inner race of the bearing. Shouldn't there at least be a washer in there? Am I missing something, or is this normal?

Normal, they went to those sometime in the '80s. Faster and cheaper to just run one lock nut on than to have a guy put on one nut, the ring, fold a tab, install the other nut, fold a tab... There may also be a little lock wedge driven into the slot where the tab on the lock ring would sit on the older style.
