This is my first time setting up a differential. All new bearings, same used gears. I’m installing a Yukon duragrip. Backlash is about .007 to .008 and I’m using setup bearings the same brand as the new ones. Pinion depth was not changed. How’s the pattern looking?

Hard to really read the pattern without gear marking compound. Silver anti-seize makes a better stand in if no marking compound is available

Looks pretty good to me. Generally used gears will pattern over a wider area than new ones. If you set the backlash where it was with the old carrier the pattern should be the same as before. New bearings are rarely out of spec and generally won't change the pattern.
