ok i am currently building a 79 ford 60 for my yj. as i am still ordering parts i am looking for a tie rod since i bent a 1.25x .25" dom tie rod on my dana 44 i want to step up to a 1.5"x .375" tie rod and was rereading the dana 60 bible it said the 1.5" tie rod will bearly touch the diff cover at full lock is this true

for steering i am running a factory yj box tapped for hydro assist with an 8" ram with solid knuckles and artec arms the tie rod will be in the between the knucle hole and the artec arm

clear as mud right

clearance issues with the ram mount and everything. this is the way i have it set up on my d44 it works and i am going to run the same set up on the 60 but i am adding a skid to protect every thing
