Got my Dana swap done, and currently driving it around. Rear is from a Ford at 65" wide, and the front is from chevy at 65". Was 67", but cut drivers side down two inches.

I don't have axle shafts in the front, or driveline, but soon to come as soon as I can get me a new job.

I like the new all-pro rear springs, I don't have a traction bar yet, and I get no spring wrap. A little wheel hop when I am on dry pavent, and punching it, be hope to eliminate that soon.

Looks good! whats the overall width(outside tire to outside tire) it doesnt look TOO wide. And just so you know wheel hop is the product of axle wrap

Yeah, I know, but I look as axle wrap a little more extreme then just a little wheel hop. My friend with a cruiser just broke his pinion due to axle wrap, pinion almost pointed straight up.

Total width is around 67. Will have to mesure when I get go my shop later today

Nice yard. The 4Runner looks pretty good too. Certainly wider than stock, but not as wide as what I think of when someone says "full width". Are you using the same 6 lug pattern? Do you know what the backspacing on those wheels is?

How wide are those SSR's? I want the 14.5's but I think they would not tuck into the wheelwell when I am at full compression (rear) how are you stopping them from rubbing the upper wheelwell? Longer (way long) bumpstops? Looks sweet too, where are all those major/minor dents?

67"?? It has to be more than that, I measured my IFS to be 70" total width just last night.

Different people measure different ways. You are probably talking about outside edge of tire to outside edge of tire Dan, and SuperRunner is probably talking about from hub to hub. That is just a guess of course because neither of you qualified your statements.

You're probably right, Harry, I measured total width, outside of tire to outside of tire. I just assumed that was what Super was giving us, since that is what SquirrelMaster was asking for.

Guess I ASS-U-ME-d too much!!!

uhm, oops, what I ment to say is 81". I figure it is probably about 8" from WMS to the outside of the tire. Add that for each side and you get 16" 16" wider than 65 is 81". Don't know what I was thinking.

Tires are 14.50's.

That is my dads yard, When I get 4wheel drive working, I have to move around those rocks. Nice pile to climb on though.

I have already been pulled over once. Cop was a jerk at first and said that there was a whole bunch of stuff wrong with my truck. I asked him what? He started ratting off a bunch of stuff, and I said, yeah, if you are talking about the old laws. Then he had a puzzled look on his face. He went back to his car and came back with a tape about 5 minutes later. Asked me what my GVWR was, he didn't believe me so I had him look. Then he took his mesurements and said "Right there aren't you" Yup, I am legal! . I apologized for not having flares and flaps, but they were in the back and I was going to my shop to put them on. Then he apologized for pulling me over, and I was on my way.

That thing's turning into a REALLY nice Runner!

Are the two fender flares on opposite corners there to confuse the cops?

Nah, I took those off when I ramped it to mesure for shocks. They are back on now, but yes, it confused some people. Thought it was sticking out further on one side.

Oh, and yes, I do have dents, look real close on the passenger side doors. I acltually laid the whole truck down on it's side in a ditch. Lucky for break away folding mirrors, and for some reason didn't get much damage, but heh, it is there.

Yeah, I had my site hosted at the company that laid me off. They did something to mess it up and I am not there to fix it anymore. I will get it fixed soon.
